Implementation method adapted to client needs

Business Intelligence Implementations

Business intelligence implemented the way modern business operates

We know that even the best technology does not guarantee success in BI projects. For this reason, we attach great importance to the quality of services provided, the professionalism of our consultants, and the selection of the most advantageous project execution methods for our clients.

As one of the first in Poland, we began practical application of lean implementation methods, often referred to as "agile," thanks to which our clients receive solutions better suited to their needs, in a shorter time, and with a lower budget.
When considering our approach to business intelligence implementations, we aim to be consistent with Qlik products – flexible, "easy to use," and for everyone.

We adapt our methodology and style of business intelligence tool implementation to the preferences and needs of our clients (regardless of their scale or business profile). By using agile methodologies, we minimize project formalities. Thanks to this approach, we have successfully completed hundreds of business intelligence implementations based on Qlik solutions for companies with diverse needs and very different sizes (from small businesses with a few employees to international corporations).

Qlik Business Intelligence Tool Implementation Methodology

Flexibility, ease of use, and design make Qlik solutions excellent tools for both classic, highly formalized implementation methods (e.g., parallel to large ERP implementations) and modern agile project organization methods.

Most Qlik business intelligence software implementations occur in successive short implementation cycles, concluding with an integration and testing phase. And, importantly from the perspective of achieving results, after each cycle, the organization can benefit from the delivered solution.

Assumptions of the simplified Qlik Business Intelligence system implementation methodology:

Many short implementation cycles that guarantee system development alongside organizational growth

Needs analysis uses the Pareto principle – 80% of needs (the most critical ones) can be defined in 20% of the time required for a complete analysis of all requirements (as in the traditional approach)

Short design and implementation phases lasting days or weeks

Faster time to use allows for quicker ROI, better understanding of the tool’s capabilities by end-users, and more precise and better-adapted articulation of needs in the analysis for the next implementation cycle.

Subsequent implementation cycles can be carried out with less or no involvement from the vendor

By implementing Qlik and applying a lean, simplified methodology, it is possible to move away from performing a complete analysis of all areas, dimensions, and measures analyzed by the organization now and in the future. This is a very time-consuming, organizationally difficult task that, in practice, is characterized by low accuracy and effectiveness. The realities of using analytical systems in business show that people's ability to articulate all needs – before gaining access to at least a prototype of the final application – is limited. Furthermore, the positive effect of using analytics in business motivates people to deepen and expand their analyses, which very often leads to the assumptions and results of multi-month analyses becoming partially or entirely outdated in a very short time.

Our Qlik business intelligence system implementation methodology assumes that the implementation of necessary analyses proceeds in many short implementation cycles. This is possible thanks to the special features of Qlik solutions – the flexibility of the entire model, no limitations on the number of measures and dimensions, and the speed of implementation. After the very first cycle, users receive a functional application that is used in production. Moreover, subsequent cycles implementing new analyses can be performed without the cost of external consultants.
